The Port of Friday Harbor owns and operates the largest public marina and the largest airport in the San Juan Islands. Both are within walking distance of the downtown services of Friday Harbor. The Port also owns Jackson Beach — the closest public beach to town — and recently purchased Jensen’s Shipyard Cove with future plans for redevelopment and restoration of the properties.

Friday Harbor Airport (KFHR) is the premier full service aviation destination in the San Juan Islands. We offer US Customs point of entry, aviation fuel, repair, maintenance and flight instruction.
Shipyard Cove Marina is located just a mile south of town, and offers 20-50’ slips and breakwater side tie space for vessels up to 100′.
Jensen’s Marina offers newly built 30’, 40’, & 50’ covered moorage, allows for live-aboard and provides boat ramp access.
Located at 1293 Turn Point Road, the boatyard offers lifts, launches, and pressure washing services. Maintenance and repair services are available from local businesses.
Jackson Beach has volleyball courts, restrooms, parking, a free boat launch and picnic sites with fire rings and BBQ grills. The Argyle Lagoon Biological Preserve tidelands is a 14 acre property.
Located on Griffin Bay at the western edge of Jackson Beach, this impressive structure once operated as an independent salmon cannery.
