Jackson’s Beach

Far enough away from town to be “away from it all,” yet close enough to walk or ride a bike (2 miles from the ferry landing), Jackson’s Beach is an ideal place for a picnic or beachcombing or just a relaxing stroll at the water’s edge. A newly constructed boat launch with restrooms opened in the Summer of 2000 sporting a 2 sided paved float. Play volleyball on the sand beach court or walk east 1/8 mile to investigate the old gravel pit tug and barge dock.

• Parking for vehicles with trailers is available up to 72 hours.
• Beach park hours are dawn to dusk. (For after hours special events phone the Port office at 360-378-2688)
• Muttmitts are available for picking up after our four legged friends.
