Jackson’s Beach Tour Far enough away from town to be "away from it all", yet close enough to walk or ride a bike (2 miles from the ferry landing), Jackson's Beach is an ideal place for a picnic or beachcombing or just a relaxing stroll at the water's edge. A newly constructed boat launch with restrooms opened in the Summer of 2000 sporting a 2 sided paved float.
